Dhiraj Looking Back

I landed at the Mexico City airport on the day of my 80th birthday, April 1st 2016. I had left for Tampa airport from Seminole in Florida early in the morning, changing my flight from Miami, where I had to get down in the middle. I was pretty confused as to whether I would need a visa to travel to Mexico. With a very puzzled mind and without a visa, I managed to reach the desk of the immigration officer. The person who was helping me manoeuvre my wheelchair submitted my passport to the officer who was on duty. The officer flipped through the pages of my passport and other documents. I expected her to ask me a lot of questions, the simple and everyday questions which I am quite used to at the airports.
