ART MAGNUM & GOLF GREEN GALLERY PRESENT NIRMAYA SPARSA BRINGING BENGAL ART TO DELHI

A  rich representation of master artists the show comes alive on 12th August 2022

 at Shridharani Gallery.

Art Magnum and Golf Green Gallery present ‘ Healing Touch (Niramaya Sparsa)’, a group exhibition featuring eminent modern and contemporary artists from Bengal and showcasing the cultural richness of the region. The exhibition shall in many ways depict the response of the artist of Bengal over the years to these difficult challenges. A total of 40-50 artworks of different mediums shall be on display tracing the journey of some of the most significant modern and  Contemporary artists from Bengal.

Bengal has been the epicenter of arts in India since the germination of the Bengal School in the early 20th century. Its relevance as the cultural capital of India has increased manifold considering the challenges posed by both the domestic scenario as well as the international situation.

The show will display incredible works by artists like Benode Behari Mukherjee, Sunil Madhob Sen, Annada Munshi, Ramananda Bandyopadhyay, Ramkinkar Baij, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Ramesndranath Chakravorty, Dhiraj Chowdhury, Ganesh Haloi, Haren Das, Shuvaprrasanna Bhattacharya, Suhas Roy, Sunil Das, Tapas Sarkar.

Says  Saurabh Singhvi, Founder of Art Magnum, “ Much of the cadence and beauty of the modern art movement has emerged in Bengal. A state is known for its intellect, its art movement, and its artistic representation of activism.”

The exhibition will continue till 21st August and be open to the public from 11 am to 7 pm.
